In my many efforts to share Elijah's legacy, I have realized that I have left out a VERY important part of his blog...His Daddy!

I no more meant to leave his daddy 'out of the picture' , than I thought to take my next breath.
Elijah is very fortunate to have had two wondeful parents who love him more than anything.
Without Chris, I would never have had the life changing, love that Elijah gave so willingly to all of us.
Thank you for sharing the pictures! I agree that it's important to include dad's. My husband will make a great father and dad's need to be recognized. Has your daughter considered adoption at all? I know it will take a long time to think about children again, an a person never gets over losing a child, but there are so many kids that need good homes... I would love to do both, have kids and adopt. Also, I didn't realize you were a special ed teacher until I read your profile. That's wonderful, thanks for the work you do! They are saying that kids with math disabilities get overlooked because we're all so concerned with reading disabilities. I hope more research gets done with those with math issues. It can be detrimental if it doesn't get taken care of. Thanks again for keeping in touch!
